After 10 years of navigating holidays, events and ‘days out’ with my own neurodivergent family, I’ve become a bit of an expert in finding the events, people and places that work for us — and maybe for you too. This year I decided to add it all to an online calendar so you (lovely reader) can use it too.
Whether you’re newly diagnosed, new to Gloucestershire, or just looking for sensory-friendly options that don’t leave everyone frazzled, below is a calendar of events, and my blog about the spaces, and days out that genuinely bring us joy (and peace) during the summer holidays.

Please be aware this site is designed to help us all keep track of everything that happening in our area. We do not run any events ourselves and would always recommend calling ahead to discuss your child's needs with any provider. Our children have relatively low needs, so I have also consulted the families of children with higher needs to make sure I am not making totally unsuitable recommendations, but of course all our children are different. This website grew out of our own needs. I was frustrated that finding a suitable event usually meant hours of googling. After all, we all have more important things to do than search the internet for events that our children can join in with.
